A Musical Movement for Ebola Features Industry Greats

A Musical Movement for Ebola, slated for December 10, 2014, will feature world-class musicians dedicated to helping Full-Circle stem the tide of new outbreaks through prevention supplies and reduce food insecurity in the Liberian community. By disseminating disinfectant, gloves, buckets, oil, rice, and Ebola education teachers contributed to the downward trend in new cases. Between August and October, FCL had served 19 of its partner schools in and around Monrovia, Liberia, but 11 school neighborhoods still waited to be served. The concert was planned to speed the momentum of contributions while the need is still high. World music treasure Terry Riley will play at the concert, along with Beaucoup Chapeaux and other innovators in the region. The concert will take place at St. Joseph’s Cultural Center, at 410 S. Church St. in Grass Valley California. Advance tickets are available at Brownpapertickets.com. Below, students integrate writing skills, resiliency, and the habit of steadfastness in a mobile classroom as they practice making soup to comfort families trying to cope.
